Working closely with OEMs and end users, ABB developed the LV Titanium, a Variable Speed Motor that saves energy, cuts emissions and is easy to install. With a compact-size and built for plug-and-play installation, the LV Titanium offers:
Energy Efficiency: IE5 efficiency motors provide 40% less energy losses than equivalent IE3 motors, leading to reduced energy usage and carbon emissions
Robust build: Cast iron frame ensures sturdiness and high reliability
High power density: LV Titanium motors can be at least 2 frame sizes smaller than equivalent induction motors
- Straightforward installation: Delivered to site already commissioned, LV Titanium is designed for plug-and-play installation
- Fast Integration: integration with other plant equipment through modbus RTU, ethernet, and other digital and analog I/Os
